A Complete Production Cycle Within ASABA
Every project is designed by the ASABA Design Center team and built at ASABA Shipyard. We manage the entire cycle: design, aluminium hull fabrication, equipment integration, testing, customer acceptance and boat handover.
Outfitting to Suit the Task
The configuration is selected according to the boat's intended use and the customer's requirements. Depending on the project, Mercury, Yamaha, Honda and Yanmar outboard and inboard engines can be installed, along with Raymarine and Furuno navigation and marine electronics. We work with suppliers and manufacturers' representatives.
Production and Quality
- Documented procedures for material preparation, assembly, welding and quality control.
- Aluminium welding procedures WPS/WPQR qualified under Bureau Veritas supervision.
- ASABA's management systems are certified by QMSCERT to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 within the scopes of the respective certificates.
A Custom Project
We are ready to discuss your boat's purpose, operating conditions and required equipment. Specific performance characteristics and equipment are defined in the design and agreed with the customer.
Production is already underway, and the first customers have provided positive feedback on the technical and operational performance of the boats built.

ASABA expands its aluminium boatbuilding capabilities
Dear clients and partners,
Since the beginning of 2026, ASABA Shipyard’s fully equipped aluminium boatbuilding workshop in the Port of Malabo has been fully operational. Production is underway, and our first customers have already provided positive feedback on the technical performance and operating characteristics of the boats built.
Each project is engineered by the ASABA Design Center team and constructed at ASABA Shipyard. This enables us to control the entire project cycle — from design and aluminium hull fabrication to equipment integration, testing, customer acceptance and delivery.
Each boat is configured according to its intended application and the customer’s requirements. Depending on the project, we can install outboard motors and inboard engines from manufacturers such as Mercury, Yamaha, Honda and Yanmar, as well as navigation and marine electronics from Raymarine and Furuno, working with established suppliers and manufacturers’ representatives.
Quality, safety and disciplined production processes are central to our work:
∙ ASABA Shipyard’s management systems are certified by QMSCERT to EN ISO 9001:2015, EN ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 for the activities covered by the certification scope;
∙ Aluminium fabrication is governed by documented technological procedures covering material preparation, assembly, welding and quality control;
∙ Aluminium welding procedures are supported by WPS/WPQR qualified under Bureau Veritas supervision.
As a result, customers across the Region receive locally built aluminium boats of European-standard quality, fitted with equipment from the world’s leading marine brands.
