Selecting a Dock

The large dock has a 210 m dock deck and a width of 36 m between its inner wing walls. The corresponding dimensions for the small dock are 105 m and 23 m. Docking suitability for a particular vessel is determined after reviewing its dimensions, weight, draught and docking plan.

Haul-Out onto the Horizontal Slipway

In addition to its floating docks, ASABA has a horizontal slipway for hauling out vessels up to 106 m in length and up to 1,600 t in ship lightweight. This limit refers to lightweight, not deadweight or laden displacement. Haul-out suitability for a particular vessel is agreed based on its actual particulars and support arrangement. The horizontal slipway is 26 m wide.
